A desert engagement session was the perfect setting for this outdoorsy couple who spend their weekends appreciating all the best spots that Arizona has to offer. The cactus, mountain views, and beautiful sunset didn't disappoint! Congratulations Michael + Emily!

Phoenix's Desert Botanical Garden made for a truly beautiful location for this wonderful couple. We started with drinks at Gertrude's and began walking the paths of the garden. The timing was just right with the Chihuly glass sculptures on show for the holiday season, and the desert plants showcased Alicia's gorgeous engagement ring perfectly.
We ended our session at the Tempe Center for the Arts and Tempe Town Lake where Luna, their long-haired dachshund joined the shoot. She was so calm and still while she displayed their wedding date as we shot their announcement photo. And the Tempe bridge at dusk made for the best family photo.
